Surprise proposal under cherry blossoms
This is how we achieve your surprise

The timing is very important
Cherry blossoms have a very short lifespan, typically lasting about 10 days at most. From the moment the buds first appear, it usually takes about 7 to 10 days to reach peak bloom. After that, the blossoms last for about 3 to 4 days before the gusty spring winds blow them away.
And the timing is changing all the time, each year is different. But there is a hint. Keep an eye on the local cherry blossom forecasts starting in February. By monitoring the ‘first bloom’ and ‘full bloom’ dates, you can better estimate when your proposal will be surrounded by the perfect pink canopy.
CHASE THE BLOOMS, ANYWHERE IN JAPAN
If you missed the timing in Tokyo, don’t worry—we can chase it by heading North. As the season progresses, the cherry blossom front—known as sakura zensen—slowly travels upward toward Tohoku and Hokkaido.
For those dreaming of the ultimate iconic shot, consider the areas around Mt. Fuji. Because of the higher elevation and cooler mountain air, the blossoms there usually hit their peak about 7 to 10 days after they bloom in central Tokyo.

And the best part?
We can travel anywhere in Japan for you.
Whether you have your heart set on the historic temples of Kyoto, the romantic canals of a hidden town, or the breathtaking northern landscapes that bloom later in the season, we are ready to go wherever the blossoms take us. Let’s turn your proposal into the adventure of a lifetime, wherever the sakura decides to put on its best show.
